As I mentioned in my info section, my husband and I recently moved to De Forest, WI. We moved from a 900 square foot townhouse to a 2400 square foot duplex. Now we have room for my sewing AND his music. Also, when we have the kids and grand kids over, there's room to spread out and just enjoy being together.
We had our first family get together yesterday. My husband set up croquet and ball toss in the backyard. He also fired up the grill. Unfortunately, it rained - but at least it held off until he was able to get the food off the grill! And, with our new space, we were all able to be inside and enjoy ourselves with various activities throughout the house.
My granddaughter, Hannah, just turned 6 last week and recently said, "Momma Sharon (which they call me). I want you to teach me to sew." Yay!!! I felt like doing back flips (although in reality this old body just can't do that! lol)
